What is Supervision & How can it help?

Supervision provides a dedicated space to stop, breathe and reflect on your practice.  Maybe there are key areas of your work which need support or you find it helpful to talk through, share and explore your work.

You may be in a new role and need to consider what impact that makes on your confidence or you may be looking to progress in your career and are wondering what the next steps could be.

Supervision is a collaborative approach between you and your supervisor which can incorporate creative tools with talking.

I practice withing the framework of IDM (Integrative Developmental Model, Stoltenberg & McNeill) and the Seven-Eyed Supervision Model, Hawkins & Shohet.  IDM is a multi-disciplinary approach to supervision which considers the development of knowledge alongside reflection and practice.  It utilises a 3 stage approach to development from the neophyte practitioner to the highly experienced practitioner.  The Seven-Eyed Model is a systemic and relational framework.  It focuses on the relationships between the client/therapist/supervisor dynamic and on the interplay between each relationship and context within a wider system.

I offer Clinical and Educational Supervision as a multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare and educational professionals.  This incorporates:
